Jose Eber Beaute Cheveux --The Shampoo : Review

About a month ago, I was sent Jose Eber's new Beaute Cheveux The Shampoo for review. I've been using a sulfate free shampoo, Living Proof, since Christmas.  I think what sold me on trying this product the fact that it's sulfate free, dispensed via aerosol cans--which contain the most advance dispensing technology, preventing oxidation and insuring that the precise amount of product is distributed without waste, and this information below.

The Shampoo comes in the form of a mousse. FYI, since this is sulfate free, it's doesn't have that "lathering" effect some of you like. I've gotten use to the lack of lather since I've been using LP; however, for some, I know that's a deal breaker.
I do like the shampoo because it's light and airy. It has a nice scent. The description via the information I was sent can say it way better than I can. "The French-inspired Quince fragrance includes top notes of quince, citrus, and lush apples, complemented by middle notes of green leaves and Neroli de Provence." It's not a perfume-y, medicine-y, or overpowering scent. It's just really clean and nice:)
I do have fine, thin hair and was able to use this w/o conditioner. However, I do want to disclose that I always spray Damage Control by Aveda on my hair before combing, so that might make all the difference.
All in all, I was pleased with The Shampoo. I think it is very comparable to the Living Proof I am using. Living Proof comes in an 8 oz. bottle at a price point of $24. The Shampoo comes in an 8.3 oz can at a price point of $17.50. Honestly, I can't really tell a difference as far as my hair quality between the use of the two.

Five on Friday

Here's my 5.........
:)
1. Hair Color Change: I hope one can say that brunettes have more fun. I went back brown last night. Pictures coming soon...

2. Scentsy products: these warmers are on the way for our house. can't wait to get these in:)
3. Junior League-i'm a provisional advisor again this year. i had my first small group meeting with my girls, and they seem like such a great group of ladies. makes me excited for what's in store for them this year!!!

4. Last selfish purchase- a couple of weeks ago, I made my last "selfish" purchase.  When I received the news that my SHG test results along with all my lab work (follicles, hormones, etc.) were great, I decided to get this to commemorate. I didn't buy these whenever they came out a long time ago, and I regretted it ever since.  Tracked them down on fleabay. I plan on wearing the necklace or earrings to my RE (reproductive endocrinologist) appointments as well as my new lucky socks. Hopefully these clovers will be good luck for us!

5. pedicures- I totally forgot to post about this last week. I had a coupon for 40% off at my local nail place and decided to splurge on a "herbal" pedicure. OH MY WORD! There are no words to describe...even if I had to pay full price, the extra 18 bucks would be SO worth it. I chose the rose pedi. And it was amazing. She started out by putting some dried crushed up rose petals in the water. Then, they put a scrub on, then they put parrafin wax on my feet, then my legs were massaged for what seemed like forever with some kind of rose oil, followed by a hot stone leg massage. It was AH-mazing. I will probably only have a few more pedicures til winter since I wear sandals to work every day. And I plan on getting these. So awesome.

Brunettes have more fun?

My natural hair color is not the golden tresses you see in my pics. I wish!

Well, if you didn't read my last post, or you missed it because you skimmed, we found out that IVF is our best option if we want to have a baby. And, IVF is not just a co-pay away, in TN at least, and with that comes sacrifices. The past few days I've been trying to write down what I spend most of my money on...clothes and my hair. No more clothes? Check.-already begun that process. Hair? ugh, so hard to let go:/

As far as my hair, it's a want. Personally, I think it looks better blonde; however, that's money we could be saving for IVF. I'm thinking about going back my natural color with a lot of caramel highlights or maybe a little lighter than my natural color with caramel highlights. The upkeep would be a lot less and save us money in the long run. I have a bit of grey, so I have to color my hair. At least this way, it wouldn't have to be done that often.

This is what I was thinking:
light brown/dark blonde with caramel highlights

or
closet to natural color with caramel highlights

warm brown with all over caramel highlights

Which do you like? Any suggestions???

PS-I'll be posting about it soon, but the new Scentsy catalog is out. The fall/winter selection is GORGEOUS!!!!!!! Check it out here.
