Disappointed:(
I hate to start out my post this way. I was very sad and disappointed yesterday. We have been planning a trip to Florida since after Christmas. I had been counting down the days until we'd be in the warm sun on the beach. Yesterday marked only one more week til FL. LC called me in the afternoon which is kind of unusual for him since he's at court. I could tell by his voice something was wrong. He called to make sure I could take back the days I'd asked off for vacation. He explained that our Florida trip had been cancelled. We were going with 2 other couples. One of the couples' parents (the husband's parents) own the beachfront condo we were to be staying at. The wife's father fell a week ago. He's not on his deathbed but is not doing as well as expected. .
I couldn't imagine if my Daddy had been hurt. I really hope he gets better. We can always go another time. It actually turned out to be a good thing because I paid off a credit card!!!!!

I'm sorry. No matter what the reason, it's disappointing when plans change. Awesome that you paid off a credit card. We don't have any...one for just emergencies. They are trouble and we would be in serious debt for sure.

Oh, I hope that their dad is okay! And I'm sorry about your trip, I'm sure that's a huge letdown. BUT, good things came out of it - paying off a credit card, excellent! You need to plan out your own mini vacation at home this weekend, instead!
