Officially Catholic

On Saturday at the Easter Vigil, I became officially Catholic. It really is one of the best achievements of my life. I LOVE being Catholic, and I LOVE my church! My weekend was full of joy and many gifts. I received the Sacraments in church which are gifts in and of themselves. Also, LC helped to buy my Easter dress which is the perfect Easter dress, the Lilly Andover dress in fresh and fruity. LC's parent's gave me a baptism bracelet (yes, i know weird. I was never baptized as a child in the South) and a cross pendant. LC's Gma gave me a book of Catholic prayers. I just love her btw! And last but not least, my parents' gift was a custom made rosary. They had me pick everything out last week. It was not able to be made in time for the Vigil, but nonetheless, it is going to be absolutely beautiful. I will get it in a few weeks. It was such a great gift especially since my parents are not Catholic. Hope you all had a fabulous Easter!!!!!!!!!!!.

Btw, thank you all so much for your input on the Pandora bracelet. I ended up going with the bead clasp and the Bible charm. My sponsor had never heard of Pandora, but she LOVED the bracelet. She had LC and I over for Easter lunch with her family, and she was wearing it. She really is such a special lady, and I am so grateful that God placed her in my life!

Your welcome. I would LOVE if you moved to Savannah (or Charleston since it's pretty close). I know we would be great friends in "Real Life"
