LC went to look at the house yesterday while I was at work. He loved it and knew I would love it too. He messaged me to tell me he was placing an offer. I know what you're thinking...Yeah right would my significant other put an offer on a house without me looking at it!!!! Believe me, we've looked at enough houses that he knows EXACTLY what I would like. I was so excited for him to be putting in an offer. Then came the disappointment followed by the GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR feeling. When his realtor called the listing agent to put in the offer, he wast told the house had sold the day before, and that someone must not have known which is why they were allowed to set up a viewing yesterday. Blows!!!! I guess LC must have been pretty ticked; so, they let him view another house in the neighborhood that was going to be listed today. LC actually liked this house better than the sold one! I don't know alot about buying houses, but he offered almost 95% of the asking price and for them to pay closing. Also, they were going to repaint the house and put in new carpet due to the old carpet being ripped out. LC put in the contract to not bother with painting or carpet. We'd repaint anyways, and he would have ripped up the carpet to put down hardwood floors. So, I'm hoping they take the offer. That's about all of my news today.

First...Cute bikini! Now...OMG, I am praying you get the house! That is so exciting! I am so happy for y'all! Your life is falling perfectly into place! My fingers are double crossed!
Did you get that on Gilt? I just bought a Trina Turk top on Gilt during their sale the other day. Or was it Rue...? Anyway. That stinks about the house :( Are you only looking in the suburbs? There are so many new houses on the market now, I think things are starting to pick back up. I'm sure you'll be able to find something else you like even more!
Err, duh. I mean if the place you put a contract on doesn't work out. I type before thinking sometimes.
Good luck with the house! How exciting!!! Keep us up-dated!
By the way, love the bikini! It is so pretty!
I'm so sorry about the house Miss Belle, I guess that puts it in the 'not meant to happen' happen category, but yikes, what an ordeal.
But that bikini? Beyond cute!

Boo, sorry about the first house, but hopefully it was meant to be and this other one will be the perfect match! I'd tell them not to bother about the painting/carpet either. Carpet, ew. Ha! And I love the bikini, too cute!
When you find the right house you guys will know it. I will keep my fingers crossed. Cute bikini.
I know how frustrating house hunting can be - Husby and I have been at it for months! That bikini is exactly like my monokini (I got the navy one) :)
