Still Looking

for a house. The bank never called us back to let us know nay or yay! I guess they have more important things instead of replying to our offer. Boo on banks!!!! Yeah, I know I work at a bank. So, boo on foreclosure departments in banks. We're looking at more houses on Saturday in another suburb. Bleh! You ladies who own homes or looking to purchase one, do you ever just get tired of looking at houses. I'm kinda over the "excitement of owning a home" factor and would rather just have some mimosas or bourbon slushy poolside on the weekend. Shoot, I'd even take a beer today. Ok, not really, I really really really want a house, but need some sun too Psssh, speaking of houses, when am I getting my freaking ring. I told you ladies I'm impatient. I want to see something sparkly BIG sparkly dangling on my left hand, ring finger soon. I'm ready for a new bauble. Tehe. Our one year anniversary is coming up in August. Maybe, he's saving that day for something "special".

So, I took the plunge and am getting a blog makeover. Thanks NYC: Housewife in Training and Avon Lady in SC for recommending Krystyn at krizzydesigns.com. She was prompt in her reply after my deposit, and I look forward to working with her. I really like her work. She has done work on NYC: HIT, Misadventures of a Newlywed, and Avon Lady in SC, just to name a few. I can't wait til the product is complete! I gave her an idea of what I wanted, see this post. I'm sure all will come out well.

Banks suck, to put it bluntly. I don't blame you for being frustrated. And speaking of frustrated {in the sense of wanting a ring} I get you on that field as well. Today is our 3-year anniversary...not married, sigh.

Sorry to hear about the house. I totally got tired of looking at houses when my husband and I were looking for our first. I thought I was going to go crazy. Michael was so picky, and I just wanted a place to live. Good luck with your search, and don't worry you will find your perfect house match soon!

i actually haven't ordered from Lulu's yet!!! i am such a wuss!! hah! but what i usually do, when ordering from forever21 online (since theirs are junior sizes)...i am usually looking for a dress or something specific....so i order two different ones and just send the one that doesnt fit/work back! therefore you aren't left empty handed...one will usually work! :) let me know if you order anything! :)

I know how you feel. When my ex and I were looking for a home it took the bank forever. You are right banks suck. Hang in there!

Oh I am so sorry!! We had the same sort of issues when we were buying our house. It took 6 months to find. We had to move from DC into a short term lease and then sublet that out.. it totally takes all the fun away! But don't worry you will find it soon and everything will change and you will be excited again!! :)

The banks almost frighten me more than the Mafia ever could. Good luck!

So hard to wait! I haven't been looking very long, but I already get frustrated, want to give up, and just spend all the money on shopping! I just take a break for a week or so and start back again when that happens.

I know how frustrating the house hunt can be.... Keep thinking positively!

The store in Bartlet is Half of Half Clothing. They get new shipments on Tuesdays, so I would suggest going on a Wednesday or maybe Thursday. Be prepared to HUNT, but finding some great little gems is totally worth it!
