So, awhile back, I was at a friend of ours house. And she had this cute collage of plates hanging on her wall. While taking mental notes, I went in closer to inspect, and it was one piece. This was artwork from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. How deceiving!!! But it gave me a great idea. I'd like to hang a plate wall on the other side of our dining room. I would like to mismatch old, antique china such as old French sevres plates with victorian ones. I'm thinking on one side, I'll have The Last Supper Tapestry and the plate wall on the other? Do you think I should just do the tapestry? Would adding the plate wall be too much? Also, if you've done a plate cluster, any suggestions, hints, and tips would be great!!!!! I can't wait til I can get some pics of the house to show you.
PS-I'll announce the winner of the giveaway shortly=)

I am trying to imagine what the dining room looks like! haha! I definitely think The Last Supper tapestry, but the plate wall might be a little much depending on the size of the room. Are you going to do a china cabinet? If the kitchen has an area for a plate wall, you should do it there. It would look so cute! I love the idea! I guess I will have to wait for pics to give my official opinion though!
I think it would be really pretty - I can just picture it with all of those gorgeous antique plates. It would be so much fun to design and create your own art!
I love the plate wall idea! Put up your tapestry and then just see what you think about the plate wall! You could always do the plate wall other places if you think it is going to be too much in the dining room!
Cute! I have this in my kitchen. Our house was built in 1952 with these fabulous archways, so In the kitchen above the arch and down it's sides I have plates all over the walls....different sizes, colors, shapes. It looks great and I'm sure yours will too!
