Bear with me...

Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been zonked out on painkillers all weekend due to getting my wisdom teeth taken out. I am back to work today, and I feel like this is what has happened to me:

Needless to say it was an eventful weekend. The OLD, and I mean OLD lady who works at the oral surgeon's office told me that I would only need to bring $210 to my appointment. I was like wow, I must have some good dental insurance. WRONG! She informed me when I arrived and handed her my payment, Friday, that it was a little bit more than that. She politely informed me that she ran the wrong insurance, and it was going to be $800. Ya know, I think $210 to $800 is no little difference. It's a BIG difference, but still I digress. And my SUV, let's not even get started on that one. I have the best parents in the world. They're not rich by any means, middle class more like it, and they just bought me a new (rebuilt) $2,600 transmission a month or so ago. My parents know I don't make a lot of money. It's true, I don't. I'm a late bloomer you could say. Most of my friends started working around 23. Yeah, this chica took her first "real" if you can even call it that job at the ripe ole age of 28. My father took my suv to his car oerson guy and it needed two new front tires and an alignment for sure. I awake out of my drug induced 2 day slumber to find out that my parents just forked out $1,200 to get it fixed. Yeah, two new front tires, an alignment, and front end work. Needless to say, I have the BEST parents in the world. I love them so much. I don't even think they know how grateful I am to have them in my life. But, that's not it peeps....my oral surgeon informed me that while removing my bottom left wisdom tooth, the filling in my back molar crumbled. So apparently, after the healing is over with in about 3 weeks, I might just need a crown. And that my friends, shot my Nola trip to HELL. For once, I was going to Nola to just enjoy the food and sightsee next month,  but alas, not so much.
And not to mention, I have been dreaming of an extra long cheese coney with onions from Sonic.

NO JOKE. I'm being DEAD SERIOUS. It's haunting me in my dreams, my daydreams, my every waking second. It's dreadfully painful. I don't know what's worse the pain in my mouth, or the thought of being deprived of this delish meal. I hope I don't dream this again tonight. It's torture. Sheer TORTURE!!!!!
Oh, and speaking of yummy food, my work is celebrating March birthdays tomorrow. Normally, it's cake and ice cream. Ice cream I can most def eat right now. Nope, they're "mixing" it up this month. Pizza and salad. NEITHER OF THOSE CAN I EAT RIGHT NOW.  GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Okay, that's my rant. Back to normal well somewhat semi-normal please excuse me if i'm a little out of sorts due to pain meds posting tomorrow. Thanks for letting me vent. That is all.

Feel better soon - you'll be all healed up before you know it!!

My friends joked about their "wisdom teeth weight loss" and I was going joke about that... but I gained 3 pounds with my milkshakes.

Boo wisdom teeth.

Ooohh I forgot about the wisdom tooth weight loss....

Hang in there, I know it sounds lame but I've learned in my life that it's true, when it rains it pours... you must just be having one of those months... unfortunately life is riddled with them, but the plus side is you can get through it...

and I think it's amazing that your parents can help you out like the do, and it's amazing that you truly appreciate that. If my car needed that much work I'd be takin' the bus! :)

My wisdom teeth surgery was TERRIBLE! My mouth is so small my doctor had to stick this thing between my teeth and crank it to open up my jaw. I seriously couldn't stick my finger between my top and bottom teeth for 2 weeks. And I took every last one of my pain pills haha. Anyways, all this to say please take it easy so you can make a trip to Sonic in the near future!

BLESS YOUR HEART!! I am so unearthly scared of the dentist that I have 3 crowns and all 3 times they have had to put me under because I can't take the drill noises... I hope you get to feeling better ASAP!
