Trying my luck

And, yes, just in case you are wondering, the infamous chili cheese dog WITH onions was in my dream again last night. Maybe, it's the crazy pain meds they gave me, but seriously, it has become the bane of my existence. It's my mission to be able to eat one by Sunday. Enough about greasy, fattening yumminess in a cardboard paper box.

I've voluntarily put myself on a shopping ban. There are only 4 things on my list that I do not have. They are: a pair of black Ray Ban wayfarers if you have a pair just laying around that you'd like to donate to me, my email is the top left corner:), a pair of Sperry top siders, a grey cardigan, and a white cardigan. Those are the only things I don't have that I want need!.

However, I really wanted a new Easter dress. I'm trying to be a good little Belle and get out of debt and pay things off. Buying a new expensive dress just isn't in the cards right now by choice. But, Easter is a special time for me. A time that no other can ever replace. Easter weekend is when I was officially confirmed as a Catholic in the church. That day holds something that is most near and dear to my heart. I definitely wanted something nice to wear to church to celebrate that! I tried on this Tahari dress at Macy's awhile back and fell in love. It's not that expensive. Regular price is $138. I was looking for Easter dresses on Ebay, and I came across the Tahari dress that I tried on, in January, from Macy's brand new with tags. And, I purchased it for a mere $54 including shipping. Please keep your fingers crossed. I hope it works out!!!

It definitely needs altering. I've got a body like Kimmy K and JLo. All my dresses need to be taken in at the waist and bust.
Here is an upclose pic of the fabric. It's an ivory and gold jacquard dress. You can def see here the alterations that are needed. Please excuse the straps hanging out of the dress. Way to keep it classy, huh? Tehe.   I love the collar. It makes a statement, and I feel like this dress is very Jackie O. What do y'all think??

Love the dress, very classy, and I always think it's okay once in a while when you are on a budget to make a smart purchase for a special occassion... it's because they are special occassions so they don't happen all the time, and you won't be breaking the bank in buying a new easter dress...

And I love that you Cherish easter so much, I can't think of anything in the world that delights the savior more than people cherishing him and cherishing his sacrifice... it's beautiful!

Love the dress! You and I have the same figure- things are ALWAYS too big in the bust and waist on me too!
