*The Proposal*

So, tons of people have been asking me for the story.....so here it is. But first, you must understand (those who follow me on Twitter probably already know this) I sleep like a baby. I sleep so sound that it's ridiculous. I'm the type of person that can sleep on the floor, couch, bed, chair, whatever. Jealous much? tehe. But, a downfall to sleeping so soundly is you can be drawn on. Often, I'll wake up and LC has drawn smiley faces or words on random parts of my body. Except, he chooses inconspicuous places such as the inside of my arm, shoulder blade, on my sides...etc. You know because when you get up in the morning in a fog you just jump in the shower, and you're not going to examine the nooks and crannies of your body. I sleep like I'm in a coma, seriously.  On the big day, LC woke me up and pulled me close to him for a hug. That's not unusual because LC's a pretty sweet guy in general. He grabbed my hand and tugged at my finger. I felt something on my finger and looked down, and I could see it sparkling in the dark. Evidently, he had put it on my finger sometime during the night. Of course, I just start screaming "Yes, Yes, Yes!" And, that's it. Very sweet and low-key just like our relationship, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way!

The thing is when I was younger I had no desire to get married. In my middle to late twenties, I looked at it with the opinion if I get married, I do. If I don't, I dont. I didn't care. To me, marriage was just one of those things. It's not something that I looked at as having to happen to "fulfill" my life. I wasn't the girl who'd had her wedding planned since she was a young girl. And honestly, I had never once looked at rings until LC sent me to. It's weird, but I knew from the first date that LC was the one. Cliche? yes. Truth? yes. And from that moment, things changed for me. My views on marriage changed for me. For the first time in my life, I wanted to think about dresses and rings and colors and babies and all that stuff. It was because I'd met "the one". I want to share my life with him. He's the love of my life, and I cannot wait to embark on the journey that awaits us.

Thank you all for your sweet comments, emails, and tweets! I was so overwhelmed yesterday with all the love and support from family, friends, blog/twitter friends. It's such a special time in my life. I hope y'all would like me to include wedding updates on my blog. Thank you so much everyone. I'm over the moon with excitement!!!!
