Ah-mazing Days!

 You ever have those days with your significant other that are just amazing. They make you *swoon* and *sigh* because they are just that ah-mazing. Yesterday was one of those days. I worked all Friday night, and all Saturday afternoon well into the night. I had to do a self-assessment for my principal. Btw, why is it so darn hard to write about yourself??? It took me forever to do it. I think I literally stared at a blank page for like an hour. Then, it was grading, lesson plans, and more grading. Finally, I'm caught up. So, yesterday, I decided no matter how much junk I had to do, I was going to take some time for myself.

So, I told LC I wanted to learn some cooking stuff. we all know i'm not even up to a novice level on the cooking skillz. The thing about LC is that he's one of those freak genius kinda people. Not only is he an attorney, he's also a biologist. Seriously, I can't make this crap up. You'd think he'd be one of those complete braniacs with only smarts. However, the man is not only a smarty, he's a handyman too. He can build anything, fix most things, cook like a professional chef....lawdy, I could go on and on. He's a freak of nature, that's what he is. Yes, I know I'm a lucky gal. I definitely am the one who lucked out FOR SURE. Anyway, I learned about making pasta for homemade raviolis (which were AH-mazing btw), made Kelly's green bean bundles (i did make these all by myself. yum!), and homemade sugar cookies. I helped and am excited to try them on my own eventually. It was such a wonderful day today.

Some days you just don't want to end...Today is one of those days:) But for now, it's back to typing up my lesson plans and getting stuff ready for the week.
