Another Love of Mine

One thing to know about me is that I love anything French especially Old World French, French Country, you name it. I'm a lover of all things old as my mother says. I was in sheer heaven when Sofia Coppola made Marie Antoinette.

I could spend hours upon hours on ebay searching through china. French china, German china, too many to name. It's literally becoming a disease. Whilst I don't have much, I have collected a few plates to hang on our dining room walls, but I still love to browse the antiques. These are my favorite kinds of china to look for:

SERVES

I actually have a gold Louis Philippe dinner plate with the same L insignia from above. I scored it on ebay, but it does have a small chip. I think it will be barely noticeable when I hang it.

ROYAL VIENNA

And while searching for Marie Antoinette plates tonight, I came across this blog. I have been wanting to get a MA plate for my wall for months, but they are hard to come by in the States. The ones I have found are completely out of my price range.

I am so jealous of this lady! I hope she enjoys her plate, and well, she's actually using her plate. I would just hang it and collect dust, and that's no fun!  Preppy Girl Meets World, if you're reading this and go to Paris, do look for one of these sweet plates for me;) I'd love you forever!!!!!!

You are my long lost sister! Marie Antionette is one of my top 5 movies...which I will be watching tonight thanks to you reminding me about it! All the plates are stunning! I would love to own them and make a plate wall too! Gorgeous! I promise when I make it to Paris again one day I will look for one for you! I am all but begging Thomas to start planning a trip there for when we both are working and have money!

Hahaha. I am reading this. I somehow doubt I'll get that lucky for you, but I'll see what I can do.
