Wow, I went back and read the post on NYE last year. My how things have changed for me. I can think back and remember how insecure I felt about my looks. I was not happy with my body and well, that post reminds me of that. So sad what our society has done to us, me included.
2010 was a great year. My boyfriend asked me to marry him, we were in our new house, I started a new job as a teacher, planning a wedding has been super fun and STRESSFUL, became a godmother to the most beautiful little boy, and I lost the extra weight that kept me so melancholy and downtrodden last year. I lost a whopping 13 lbs! And I did achieve my new years resolution from last year. I am content and happy with myself inside and out, and if it took 13 lbs. to do that, so be it! And, I'm so glad that in 2010 I went out to dinner with some lovely ladies I met on Twitter. Not to mention, they'll be the first ladies I do dinner with next week in the new year. Love y'all:)
I am very excited for what 2011 holds. It's the year I go from being a miss to mrs, and I'll marry LC. The older I get I just think resolutions are silly, but I want to make a resolution this year. My resolution is to just enjoy being alive, living in the moment, and loving with all I have. So long 2010.....
