Bring on Spring!!!!

I loved being out the past two days for snow, and I loved the winter wonderland backdrop it created for a few pics of Puggy. Other than that, I'm so over winter. I'm tired of being cold and wearing tons of layers. I'm ready for warmer weather. Bring on spring!!!!!!!

Now, we all know how much I love clothes. I am a girl with champagne taste and a beer Vera Bradley checkbook. I'd love to be able to buy DVF, Milly, Chanel, and LV at the drop of a hat, but unfortunately, a teacher's salary does not provide such luxuries:(  One store I do love is New York & Company. While the quality isn't of Chanel, I always find stuff there, and the spring line did NOT disappoint. Here are some of my faves:

Lavender Sheer Paisley Print Tunic $39.95

I would love to have this for work or play. For work, I could tuck it into a cute pair of gray pants throw on some pearl and wear my city flats. For play, this would totally go with white jeans!

Ruffle Shoulder Tee  $22.95 (much better in person)
This cute little tee would be perfect with jeans for a casual look.

Argyle V-Neck Sweater Vest $34.95
And if you didn't already know, I love just simply love argyle. I'm loving this sweater vest, and I'd add pearls of course;)
Safari Print Wrap Dress $59.95
Now, this is just a super cute fun dress. You could wear it year round in all reality. During winter throw on some tights or knee boots or both! For spring, wear it as pictured, and for summer, just throw on some strappy sandals!

NY&Co. stuff will last a few seasons if you take care of your clothes. I always wash all my items on the delicate or hand wash cycle on my washer, and I ALWAYS wash them in cold water. I never dry my items from here and always hang or lay flat to dry on a drying rack. It keeps them looking nice and helps them to hold up. Another tip, I never NEVER never NEVER never Never pay full price at NY&Co unless it's so ah-mazing that I have to have it right then and there. They are always doing sales, have coupon codes, or mail out coupons. Just a tip!! Often the coupons are great, and you get a lot more stuff for your $$ than just buying it outright! These are DEF on my b-day list:)

I like to shop at NY & Co. I didn't know what great clothes they had until last year and I got a few great pieces of clothing for work and for play. It looks like they still have an awesome collection. Thanks for the pictures and reminder!
