Gertie: 1, Belle: 0

I decided to name my gallbladder. Her name is Gertrude, but I'll just call her Gertie. ;)

Today is the big day for my graduate presentation. I have to defend my action research project to two professors and hope they like it. I am on pins and needles. Please pray for me and cross your fingers!

Well, one thing I can say is I've eaten healthier this week than I have in a LONG time. I've actually lost a couple of pounds, so maybe, it isn't all that bad. ;) I've realized that my normal daily intake is very unhealthy to be honest. My diet this week has consisted of pb&j sandwiches as well as turkey sandwiches, a small amount of Cheezits, and applesauce. For dinner the past two nights, we've had soft tacos. LC grilled chicken, I had no cheese, and VERY minimal sour cream. Not to mention, the heart healthy tortilla was actually pretty tasty.

This weekend when we ate fast food, I had a grilled chicken sandwich with a very, very small amount of honey mustard, apple slices, and a water. Normally, I'd eat chicken nuggets, fries, and a sweet tea. The grilled chicken sandwich was pretty good actually. I tried out rainbow sherbert for dessert this week, and Gertie was okay with that.

Anyway, I thought I'd share this pic with you that I found in my phone. I don't remember this AT ALL. Although, this is a doctor's office, not the hospital, so LC must have snapped this at my GI's office. This is me after the ER (we went straight to GI), and I'm thinking the dilaudid was still in effect. Ha!

**Please excuse my trashy roots. It's time for them to be done, but I have to push it back a couple of weeks for good timing for my brother-in-law's wedding.

I'm sorry you're feeling so poorly. My mom used to get gallbladder attacks, and they are miserable. For some reason, she would drink grapefruit juice when she was sick.
