I was excited when I saw that some of the LP stores were going to be having a 2 day sale. I was really hoping to get the seersucker and toile callahans for our honeymoon. However, the sale was only for Resort and anything left over from previous seasons before that. I just didn't "love" alot of things from Resort this year. *shocker* Normally, I am obsessed with everything, but just not this resort season. I did end up scoring these shorts from The Pink Crab for our honeymoon. They were $34. The front page of the website said $4 flat rate shipping, but they charged me $8. I emailed and am waiting to hear back from them.
They are white seersucker with nautical/regatta embroidery on them. That's about as far as I go when it comes to that kind of stuff. I saw the new seersucker shorts for the summer line, and they have embroidered ladybugs on them. Yeah, I just don't do insects or fruits and am not too crazy about animals. Ha! That's all I bought.

I agree! I stayed up last night waiting for the sales to start, but really wasn't in love with anything. I did end up with a Roslyn skirt and a tunic dress at Splash of Pink. I wish the Lilly website was hosting a sale as well!
I think they're cute. I hope they refund the over-charge.
I totally agree with the bugs and little animals on shorts! But I would email them and ask about the shipping and they will probably reimburse your or give you a credit
