First off, this has been such a great week. It has been full of such good news that I'm bursting at the seams.
First and foremost, EVERY single of one my students passed their state writing assessment. To see the joy on their faces today, money--simply--cannot buy. I am so proud of them and proud to be their English teacher. We worked so hard and to see the hardwork pay off is priceless:)))) Only 3 of my 5 classes took the writing assessment because I teach two grades. I had a little over a third of the kids in our school who scored the highest on the score rubric. I am VERY proud of myself as well. *pat on back;)*
Second amazing news is that I do NOT have cancer!!!! My doctor said the growth is benign and due to medicine. He said he sees this a lot, and it's usually causes by bc. I don't need to have it removed and I'm getting off bc.
Third amazing news is I got rehired!!!! It's really late in the year to be receiving rehire letters. We were nervous about it at school, and, me, I was SUPER nervous. I'm newer and low on the seniority list. If there's someone to cut because population numbers are low---then, it would be me. I am so happy because I love LOVE LOVE love LOVE my co-workers. In addition to my co-workers, I like my school and my administrators (bosses) and that makes for a great, creative, collaborative working environment.
Fourth AWESOME news...I graduated:)))) This semester was so crazy; it felt so good to have a co-worker email me to tell me he heard my name called out during graduation. And, it was nice to check my grade and see the S (for satisfactory--was a pass/fail course).
I tell you what, God has been wonderful to me this week. I am so thankful and grateful for all the opportunities he has given me and all the stress he has lifted off of me this week. So thankful and so humbled by all the news int he past few days.
I just had to share. I hope you've had some good news this week too! Have a great weekend!
