Guest Posts and Skin Care

I know these are both the two most random things to pair together, but it is what is.

I'm trying to get things in order for when I leave for Savannah. Would any of y'all like to do a guest post? If you would just email me [email is on my left sidebar and profile].

Also, what kind of skin care do you like? What's your favorite eye cream, cleanser, moisturizer, etc.? I'm in the market for trying something new. I do consider myself to have combination skin. All suggestions welcome:)

I've diagnosed myself a skin care junkie and there are still a couple products I always come back to.

1. Philosophy's Purity Made Simple Cleanser - amazing gentle cleanser that even removes eye makeup without irritation

2. Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub - so cheap but so good! I use a prescription gel on my skin overnight so in the morning I need something that will get rid of the film it leaves behind. This scrub is abrasive enough to feel like it gets to job done but isn't too harsh that it aggravates my rosacea.

3. Dior BB Cream - I know BB creams are half makeup product/half skin care, but this is a new product I just picked up at Sephora and have fallen in love with. Yes it's crazy expensive but it's replaced my need for foundation, which in the hot SC summer is a FANTASTIC thing!

Let me know if you try any of the products or find something new that is amazing! Hope this helped you out!

I really like the dermalogica skin care line. It's somewhat pricey - but the products last. They have different products for different types of skin - I use a lot of the ultracalming line.

Personally for face wash I love my off brand clarasonic. The orig cost around $150 but I got mine at CVS for 19.99. I also have the CVS brand of face wash to go with it. I LOVE it. It has totally helped my face. You can use it everyday but I use mine about every other to every two days. The days I don't use it I use a make up cloth Oil Olay. This also helps take off my eye make up too. I also use their face lotion beore I put on my make up. It has a SPF of 15.

Having combo skin myself, I have tried everything to tame it. Seriously-ev.er.y. thing. After getting fed up with my Dior skin care, I stumbled over to the Chanel counter one day last spring, and slowly but surely, purchased everything they recommended. My skin has never looked better. I use the purity (green) skin care line in the warmer months and the balancing (pink) in the cooler months, in combination with my Clarisonic brush. I will never use anything else again!

Have such a great time in Savannah. I used to live a couple of hours from there and loved going to visit. The cobblestone streets make me so happy!

For skin care I really love Philosophy and have for awhile. Recently I started using Clarins and I love love love it. I've got combination skin as well.

I love the Multi-Active Day Cream and the Multi-Active Skin Renewal Serum. Both have been magic for me!

Also, great job on all of those new Lilly scores!

I would be happy to do a guest post if you still need someone to fill in for you!

also- I have combo skin, too and all of my skincare products are very inexpensive!

I use purpose liquid soap to wash my face every day, clean & clear morning burst SPF15 sunscreen on my face every day, and at night I use oil of olay although I'm pretty sure I need to move up to regenerist because I'm getting OLD. LOL :)

everything can be bought at Target!
