Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born - it's an idea, a state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, high school football, beer, country music, and acoustic guitars. It's being hospitable, being devoted to front porches, magnolias, the good Lord, and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way.

Little Rock Day Trip

Before Christmas, I saw that Scentsy was having one of their Spring Sprints in Little Rock at the Peabody Hotel which is about a couple of hours away from me. It was on President's Day, I was out of school, and writing assessment was over! *cue the angels singing* Hubs had to work, so I figured a little day trip wouldn't hurt.

I got there and registered with an hour to spare. I headed across the street to the Capital Hotel for lunch. They have a place to eat inside called Capital Bar and Grill. I've heard good things about it!

The place was packed with lots of Scentsy ladies. I ended up having to eat at the bar because it was the only place open. The bartender was a great server and really nice! I ordered the pimiento cheese sandwich with fries. Before it came out, she brought by some sweet cornbread. Also, the tea is to.die.for.! I think it's a peach tea, and they served a simple type syrup on the side if you wanted to sweeten it. DELISH! Next time I'm in LR, I'll definitely be heading back!!!!

Spring Sprint was a fun experience. I learned lots about the company and got a sneak peek at some of the new products that come out in the new catalog starting March 1st. Such CUTE stuff!

Also, here's one of the cute new wraps for the core warmer. Loveeeee birdcages! Can't wait!

Last, but not least, here's my outfit. It was rainy and freezing cold. I went for comfort instead of fashion:)

OOTD: Spring Sprint
