Fave Spring Thing

I think one of my favorite parts of spring is picking out new flowers and plants for the spring/summer season. This is what we spent Saturday doing, and then, working in the yard on Sunday after our errands. This year, LC and I had to compromise! We never agree when it comes to landscaping. He likes low maintenance plants, and I like pretty, big blooms and things that require work. And everything I think is pretty, he thinks is fug. However, I refused to cave this year. I think we went 50/50 on what we liked.

LC got arborvitae/I got gardenia bushes. A gardenia's scent is one of my favorite smells! Probably the reason why I love the Lush Gardenia scentsy bar!

I got ranunculus, a poppy plant (see inside cart), zinnias, snapdragons, and peonies. LC got impatiens and petunias. Plus, he picked out our new tree a Japanese maple that replaced the lifeless, rotten twig of a tree in our front yard.  Not to mention, the GAZILLION vegetables/herbs he bought for his garden.

The weather in my part of the South has been beautiful lately. However, I'm afraid we jumped right out of winter into summer. It's been in the 80s this week!
