$2638.00

If you need to have a CT scan make sure your insurance is awesome. I finally got the bill in for my CT scan from the hospital. Well, it's a whopping 2638k. Thanks hospital for charging so much for sticking me in the hole of some machine for oh about 10 minutes. That's over 200$ a minute. Thank you. Anyways, that's before my insurance claim was filed. I still owe 300$ on my deductible so I have no idea what the cost will be. I'll def update about that. So, I have to bring something for my office Xmas party. I decided I'd like to bring Bacon Wrapped Sugar Smokies. With that being said, the party isn't until the 19th, but as I've said before I'm no chef. Beginner's isn't even the right word. Novice might be too much. Ha! Well, I made them last night. They were very easy to do the most time consuming part is wrapping the bacon around the smokies. However, they turned out so yummy. Here is the recipe if anyone would like to try them:

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 pound sliced bacon, cut into thirds
1 (14 ounce) package cocktail weenies:)
1 cup brown sugar, or to taste

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Refrigerate 2/3 of the bacon until needed. It is easier to wrap the wieners with cold bacon. Wrap each cocktail wiener with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar generously over all.
Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until the sugar is bubbly. To serve, place the wieners in a slow cooker and keep on the low setting.

My advice is to definitely do this with a broiler pan. This pan will catch all the sugar in the bottom. If you do it on a cookie sheet you will have a mess on your hand. They were very yummy!!!!!

I hate getting bills for not fun things that could have been better spent on something fun! That recipe sounds yummy. What could be more Southern than bacon and sugar combined?

Can we just say that TSU (The Spousal Unit, aka The Consort) would absolutely die for these? Seriously, he would.

Perhaps I will be a good Princess and attempt to make them...!

Grins & Giggles for the rest of your week Miss Belle!
