Working For the Weekend...

Blondie From a Blondie Goes Blog-Thank you for my award, but I am not on your invited list. Please leave your email, and I will send you mine for an invite.

Hopsy-If you read this, please send me your email so I can send you mine for an invite. I miss your blog already:(

I know you were wondering what kind of rings I was looking at the other day so here ya go...
I was thinking instead of a very plain, but elegant setting like the one I chose in my previous post (which I still LOVE by the way) to maybe do something a tad more dramatic for me. I love the idea of putting a plain solitaire in the middle of two channel set bands. I have very thin fingers as in my finger was sized to 5 and three quarters to figure in the Summer swelling. So, my finger is even thinner in the Winter (too bad the rest of me doesn't match them, tehe). so I have to go with something delicate and not so big and bulky. Literally, a 2 carat ring overpowers my finger; so, LC is a lucky man knowing that a 1 1/2 carat looks mighty big on my finger. Although, I don't know about the bowing out on this setting. I still like it though.

I, also, like this one. Except, I would like it more if it was a round solitaire. I think the thicker band on the engagement ring itself gives it a little edge. And, according to my bestie Elle, I am Preppy with an Edge. Ha=)

Also, I cannot wait until my Rue La La package comes in! It contains this little beauty. And you know what, it is still listed on Vineyard Vines' website for $69.50, and this Belle scooped it up for a mere $35 bucks on Rue La La's sale. Can I get a fist pump with a big "yesssss" and a high five too. Thanks=)

And, I know, I know this blog is all over the place, but you should check out A Southern Accent's post today for all you paper lovers and soon-to-be-brides and the I wish he'd hurry up and ask me girls so I have a real reason to look at these *no knocking on these girls b/c I'm one of them LOL*. My favorite was this:

You have such great taste and very tiny fingers! I wish I had small fingers! Both rings are so beautiful! I love the channel set wedding rings. I have a wedding ring on each side of my engagement ring. They consist of 7 small prong set diamonds. I love them!

Beautiful invites! And both rings are gorgeous as well - anything that sparkles is good in my book. I'm pretty classic in my taste & therefore like the first one a teeny bit more than the second {they are both great!}. And great deal on the shirt! I've yet to get anything on any of their sales yet, but really need to get on it!
