I have good news!!!!!!

Nope, it's not a ring ladies. Sorry! But speaking of rings, a little ring mishap happened this morning. Now, darlings, we all know that leaving the entire picking out of the ring would be a big fiasco in this Belle's household at least. LC and I do not always see eye to eye when fashion is involved. Therefore, leaving him, to pick one of if not the most important piece of jewelry in my ENTIRE life, will not suffice. Nope, just won't. I may or may not have went and picked out the most gorgeous, well at least to my exquisite eye for classic and elegant taste, ring for me. I don't care where he gets the engagement ring, but this band is what I want, hands down! So, I had the jeweler put the style number and carat weight on her business card. She also put down a date of an upcoming bi-annual sale on the card. *hint hint (seriously, could it be any bigger?)* Ladies, I am not so clever and must learn to hone my "sneaky" skills. I have caught onto the trick of sending my pretties via USPS to my office. Now, I must learn the skill to sneaky. I decided to put said business card in front of LC's Kroger card in his wallet whilst he was dreaming of sugar plum fairies. I, on the other hand, forgot to close said wallet. Now LC being an attorney and all, hence the acronym LC for law clerk which he once upon a time was, has an eye for detail like no other. He very much so noticed the open wallet this morning and inquired about it. I tried to be clever and explain that I was rummaging through my purse on the table last night and must have accidentally "bumped" it. Gaw, stupid me. In a hurry, I forget to close things i.e. drawers, cabinets, lids, etc. I'm a terrible liar. I must work on "white" lying skills as well. I confessed like an open book. I was highly embarrassed at my little late night rendezvous. Seriously, what in the H-E-double hockey sticks was I thinking?!?!?!? I tell you what, I know exactly what I was thinking. Umm, how about you get with the program LC. I want to get a bigger house, but LC cannot qualify for said house until my name is inked on for additional credit. I, however, do not want to settle for the SMALL house in the nice neighborhood we looked at. I want a house that will suit all my clothing needs. That need is multiple closets to display my pretties since we are looking in an older, yuppie neighborhood, and we all know those houses are built circa 1940/50s. Therefore, closets are tiny with a capital T. So, I guess the hint was evident. I'm just hoping within the next 6 months or sooner. How about y'all do a little dance or a little prayer for me=)

And yes, I almost forgot my good news.....My Mummy got her results back from the doctor, and her levels are very good as far as the cancer is concerned. The doctor is hoping the blood work will come back fine, and then, my Mum will be on bi-annual visits to a yearly visit. Yay!!!! In my world that is amazing news! Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

I am so glad to hear the good news about your mom! Also, I think you are a very wise woman for suggesting the type of ring you would like. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I mean you wouldn't want to end up with a ring that you don't like. What would you do then?

Awesome news about your Mom!!! That is so wonderful!!

I think putting the business card in his wallet was a great idea! Minus the whole admitting fiasco - lol!! :) I hope that you are walking down the aisle soon!!!

And good luck with the house situation. The hubby and I had a HARD time with that!! I still got a huge closet in the end complete with organizers - I guess that's all that matters!! :)

I feel you with the small closet! I have the absolute tiniest closet and I hate it! All my clothes are crammed into it and I have to iron anything that comes out of it! I hope he proposes soon! Wedding planning is fun! Stressful, but fun! I am glad to hear about your mom!

That is`wonderful news. So happy to hear. And that cracks me up that you didn't close his wallet. I am pretty sure he caught on to your hint! I think it is good you are showing him what you like/want. You don't want to be unhappy with what you get.
