Took your advice...

When I got to work yesterday from being on my mini-vacay, the red light was blinking. I had one new message. It was from a rep at oceanpalm.net informing me that the shirt I ordered was no longer available. Great [insert sarcasm here]. Even though y'all had told me I should say something about the shipping, I was just going to let it go. I hate complaining, but after receiving that message, I couldn't just let it go. I'd had a problem with them in the past. Once, I ordered a dress, and I never received a confirmation email. I still hadn't received any kind of notification and decided to call them. The girl there said she didn't see my order. She finally found it and pawned it off on some kind of computer glitch. They had the dress; so, I wasn't that upset. Well, after this little doozy happened, I decided to take y'alls advice and say something. I emailed a non-snarky email explaining that I was disappointed and wished they had a better system of updating their stock. Also, I mentioned the shipping mishap. Not that long after I hit send, a lovely, British (assumed) woman rang me at work. She was very apologetic, offered the top in different colors, explained their system is older and they have another store that doesn't update til the night closes, and walked through the ordering steps in order to see shipping issue. Much to her dismay, she encountered what I did. They use Yahoo; so, she was going to contact them to clear the matter up immediately. I thought Ocean Palm rectified the situation in a matter that was pleasing to me, and I will shop with them again. I'll just call to make sure my merchandise is actually available. Don't fret darlings, I ordered the top from The Pink Pelican. There was only one left in stock. Just for my own appeasement, I double checked the website after placing the order, and it listed the top "OUT OF STOCK". Their system updates immediately. Nice to know=)

On another note, my phone died last night and went to Blackjack heaven or maybe Blackjack purgatory since it died for no reason. I mean it worked while in St. Louis. Then, on the way home, it wouldn't charge. I tried my wall charger, car charger, different wall charger, and there was nada, nothing. I got an Iphone. I'm still trying to figure the darn thing out. Woo hoo, twittering and Iphoning now. I'm moving on up [sing The Jefferson's theme song now] Ha=)

I just got an iPhone about a month ago and I don't know how I lived without it (I'm a total addict now - always on Tweetie and checking my email)!

And after reading this, I went to oceanpalm.net and saw a Lilly dress that I've been stalking that is way cheaper there than anywhere else! I may be in trouble!
