Halloween Costume: #1 or #2????

So, ladies, this is one thing you might not know. But, I ABSOLUTELY love Halloween. It's one of my absolute favorite holidays. Notice I said "absolute" twice=) Yes, it is one of the only nights that you can wear something risque dress like a slut out in public with it being okay and acceptable. Not that I would dare do that, but you know what I mean. Last year, I went with the Gretchen costume ( a beer girl) and LC dressed as the Lederhosen (beer guy). Since we were not going to be in town, I had not really put much thought into buying a costume. We're going to a football game that weekend at his alma mater, and to save $$$, I thought I'd just wear an old costume. It's not like anyone knows me down there. But then, a cute black cat invitation came in my mail. My very best friend in the whole entire world's sister is having a Halloween stock the bar party at her new house. And it's the weekend we'll be in town. So, I was scrambling around trying to figure out what I'll be. Yes, I start looking costumes in August, but obvs, I'm late to the game this year. I've decided that I want to be S*now W*hite (I put the asterisk there to keep from coming up on Go0gle searches). So, these are the costumes I've narrowed it down to. Please tell me what you think!!!!!

OPTION #1

OPTION #2

Ok, so, I like #1 because it has more detail. The only concern I have is the material for the puffy sleeves. A friend of mine was ra*inbow br*ite one year, and when she reached for something, the seam ripped on the underarm of her costume. I like #2 because I've actually seen this costume in public, and the material is forgiveable=) However, it's not very detailed. If I get #2 I will probably go with the thigh highs for #1. What do you think? Suggestions????

Option #1!!!! It's so cute!!!!

Oh, I like them both! You're right that #1 is more detailed, but I can see how it may not move very well. So #2 might be a better way to spend the night. I definitely like #1's thigh highs better!

Wow, I know I wasn't much help, there, but I can see positives to both. I was the same thing (when I was a little girl and my mom made me the most beautiful costume - wish I could still wear it).

I think I like #2! Cute costume :)

Definitely #1. #2 is cute, but #1 is better! :)

I like number 2, simply because I'm not the hugest fan of shiny material. Either one will be totally cute, of course! Thigh highs are too fun.

I'd go with #1. It's just cuter. I bet you'll look adorable in either, but I'd still go with #1. It's more authentic.

Have fun!

They are both cute as can be Miss Belle, if pushed we would probably go for #2, the collar is outstanding!

Enjoy the week to come,

Either one would be adorable. How long are you going to be wearing the costume? If it's only for an hour or so, then go for the first one. But if you plan on rocking it for the whole night & into the early hours of the next day, you may consider #2. It would be cute AND comfortable.
And I agree.. thigh high #1 most def!

On a second note. I have ALWAYS wanted to be the beer girl. Just never done it. There's always next year.

Ooh! #2 is my favorite!

I vote for #2.
#1 is pretty, but I can see how it wouldn't move much!, #1's thigh highs are cuter :)

I like #2...I like the simplicity of it and I think the shiny material would immediately look wrinkled.

I am very impressed you already have costumes picked out! :)

I like #2 simply because it's not all fancy :). Also, who wants to chance their costume ripping?

I could never pull off costumes like that.

I love them both..but I see what you mean about #1. So I guess I would go with 2 and use the stockings from the first one. And since you have already seen it in "real" life you know what you are getting. I know I ordered Miss Priss this fancy thing once and it looked great on the computer, but when I got it...cheeeeep. Hope you have a great time at the party...sounds like super fun!

Hello- new follower here! I think #1 looks more like Snow White, whereas the 2nd one is kinda just the colors.

Sad that you don't get to dress up! Yes, this one ran a little small, but it's made of stretchy material, so it wasn't a big deal. Mine also didn't come with the petticoat so I had to buy one. If you change your mind, let me know!

Hey girl-- I honestly don't remember exactly what I paid for the costume. I think it was $40 and that didn't include anything but the dress. I would sell the dress and the petticoat (and the red high heel Mary Janes if you want them-- I think they're a size 7, I have to check when I get home. They're a little scuffed, but they still look good with the outfit), and I have a black headband with a red bow on it that I made... for $40, with free shipping. Let me know if you're interested, and I can e-mail you a pic tonight when I get home and check on the size of the shoes. classysouthernbride@gmail.com Thanks!

I know I'm like four days late to the party on this one but I like number 1 better. I think the collar in number 2 would get on my nerves and I LOVE the skirt on #1.
