Easy Peasy Dessert!

This dessert is yum yum especially if you like chocolate!!! Tweetup Girls, this is the recipe I was going to bring.

Oreo Dirt Dessert

Ingredients:
1 pkg of Oreos
2 boxes of cook and serve Jello chocolate pudding*
1 container of cool whip**

Directions (pictures included. your welcome;)

Set aside 4-5 Oreos from package
Crumble the remaining Oreos and spread evenly in a cake pan or some kind of dish

Cook pudding mix as directed

Pour cooked pudding (as soon as it is boiling like directions say) evenly over Oreos in pan

Refrigerate  to allow pudding to cool
Thaw out the Cool Whip until it is speadable
Spread Cool Whip evenly over pudding and Crumble the set aside Oreos for garnishment purposes

*pudding mix requires butter and milk (just fyi)
** depending on how much cool whip you like, you might want to buy 2 containers

First, sorry for the terrible photo shoot. These are from my iphone. You really must let the cool whip thaw out, or it will end up looking like my last picture. I was in a hurry and just wanted to get it done; so, I could eat it. NOM NOM NOM!!! And, when in a hurry, I didn't set aside the Oreos for garnishing; so, I had to scoop these out after refrigeration to crumble and put on there which made it look crappy. But, I wanted you to understand what I was doing. This is super easy, and if you set aside your Oreos and maybe, put it in a Corningware dish it could look fancy schmancy. Easy peasy mad ninja kitchen skills. Enjoy;)

Have you ever had Dirt Cake? It's just like this but also has cream cheese. OmG. To die for. It's easy, rich, not too rich, chocolatey goodness.
Alot of people will add gummy worms to the top if you're serving kids- it is dirt cake afterall. : )

This sounds delicious! By the way, I tried the little smokies and bacon recipe you posted a while back, and they were outstanding! I took them to a party, and they were an instant hit! Thanks again!
