Project Barbie Party!

I was reading Classy and Fabulous Sarah's blog yesterday, and she mentioned participating in Insomniac Lolita's Project Barbie Party. The general idea was to get dressed up and wear something pink. I thought what a cute idea, but you were supposed to post the pictures today which gave me only half a day. Not much time to prepare. So, I asked the lovely Lolita if I could still participate if I used an old picture since I didn't know about it til well, um, yesterday.

This picture is from my birthday two years ago please note, this is my previous blonde, skinny 8lbs ago, tan self. i was definitely all about some GTL (gym, tan, laundry) at this point in time in my life. That night was such a fun one. We had dinner downtown at Sauces, drinks at Pat O'Briens, which is sadly closed now, and who knows where else. The best part about birthdays is just being able to hang out with your friends and have the greatest time. That's really the best present of all. I can't quite remember why I was laughing what i really mean to say is, i have no idea why i have this goofy look on my face, but it's a safe assumption that I was probably ecstatic over the birthday cupcakes NOM NOM NOM or had a few too many bourbon drinks. Or, in all reality, it's probably due to both, but still I digress.....
