Vday Gift Ideas for Your Beau

Just some random ideas of what to get your significant other for Valentine's Day. I'm not saying LC would agree with all of these he was adamant once a upon a time that he would NEVER wear a button down that had been monogrammed. i spy a jos a. banks button down shirt in his closet with a monogram on its sleeve. tehe

1. The bowtie. I don't know why I love bowties so much, but I just do. I think maybe because guys just don't wear them often. Or maybe, I like them because they remind me of a different time. I'm just rambling. I don't know why. I JUST LOVE THEM. This bowtie by Brooks Brothers is super cute and only $49.50. I bought LC a tie from Brooks, and he loves it. You just can't go wrong with the quality they provide in their clothing.

2. The infamous Iphone. It's no secret that men love technology. Heck, I even love my Iphone. LC says that all I care about is my Iphone. this may or may not be true. what can i say, i love my twitter friends If the Iphone isn't economically feasible for you, an Itunes gift card would be nice.
3. COUPONS!!! Make your very own coupons. You could put things like washing the car, one for a massage, one for dinner at home one night cooked by YOU, etc. Put things you know he'll like. I know for a fact that LC would be stoked about this idea. I'm think I'm going to make one that says I will make sure I pick up all of my clothes off the floor for one week. And, I know he'd really LOVE this one. I'd give him a coupon for a one week vacation for Puggy at Grandma's house.Hahahahaha.

4. A watch. Every man needs a nice watch. It's an accessory they wear everyday. While a Tag might be out of your budget, you can still get a good watch for a fraction of the cost of this one. I used this pic because Brad was for you and me

5. A unique pair of cufflinks such as these made with maps. These will remind him of you everytime he wears them. They have such a personal touch. This particular pair pictured is of the Boston Red Soxs Fenway Ball Park and can be found in dlkdesigns shop on Etsy located here. What a great gift to give your beau of his favorite team!!! I have even contacted the seller about doing a pair with street maps from my city. I want to get LC a pair that has the exact location of our first date. I think it would mean so much.

6. TICKETS!!!!! You can get him tickets to watch his fave team, band, hunting show, or whatever it is that men love to go watch. Me? I bought LC a John Mayer ticket for the March concert in our city. Because, he LOVES John Mayer. so, he really doesn't love john mayer. he thinks he's a douche. the tix are for me in all reality. and no it's not my vip pass. i wish though

7. A Port Southern Polo. They have great croakies too. And watch for the womens line coming out this Spring!!!!

These are just a few ideas of something you could get your significant other. It's not so much about what you give as in the manner you give it. Sometimes, the most inexpensive gift is what means the most!!!!

GREAT suggestions, but I can tell you right now that my husband would find objections to each and every one of them (well, except maybe the love coupons, ha ha!). I really like the cuff links, though - very unique! And there was a doctor who attended my parents' church, and he wore a bow-tie every Sunday w/o fail. I think they should make a comeback... ;-)

I love all of your suggestions! Sometimes guys can be so difficult to buy for, so it is always nice to get new ideas!

OK, that is the coolest Valentine's list ever. Actually I would like most any of those things for myself...except maybe the bowtie. Can't figure out how to rock that.

By the way, do you know where Calling Rhonda is? My reader shows a post from a few hours ago but now her blog is gone! :(
