So, tomorrow is the first day of school, ANDDDDDDDDD I'm terrified. I'm not terrified about classroom management; I'm terrified of failing my students as a teacher. I'm scared about not being a good teacher. I'm scared about teaching them on their level. Sure, I'm a lit major, and I can write. But, can I teach
them how to write? I woke up a million times last night due to freaking out. I'm hoping I sleep well tonight. You see my last job was not the best monetarily, but I learned it quickly. It was like a safety net, and I was comfortable. Making a complete career change is kind of like taking a leap of faith. You have no idea when you take that step if you're going to touch ground or fall. It's scary. Please wish me luck:) Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

You will do great!! I do have a really neat writing activity that I used to do when I taught middle school. I actually sent it to the Tennessee Teacher magazine and they published it.
