Ok, so my Wedding Wednesday post is a few days late...better late than never, right?!?!? You all know how much I LOVE pink and green. I wanted a spring wedding. I wanted peonies, roses, calla lilies, and shabby chic bouquets with gold accents. LC did NOT want spring nor summer. He wanted fall. Boo! It was the only stipulation he made. I was bummed. I had all these visions of our wedding in my head the past couple of years, and they came to a screeching halt. I had never pictured ANYTHING but pink and green. *gasp*
When I think of fall I think of brown and more brown. Ick! But as I was flipping through wedding mags one day, I came across this picture, and I fell in loooooovvvveeeeee! It totally has been the inspiration for my wedding.
Sorry for the poor quality pic from my iphone. Don't you just love the use of the sliced pomegranate in the front and the berries throughout??!?!?!!! This centerpiece is so organic, and I totally want these on some of my tables. The picture really helped me put things in perspective for a fall wedding. I have chosen chocolate brown for the bridesmaid dresses. Terracotta and gold will be the accent colors throughout the reception. So, what do you think???
PS-I have no idea why the piggy banks were on their tables. ha!

It's beautiful! I had a summer wedding, but I would loved to have a fall wedding, I think the colors are gorgeous. Your colors sound really pretty :)
I love your colors! It's going to be beautiful for fall. If we hadn't done a late spring/early summer wedding, I would have had a fall wedding because of the colors!
I love greens and browns!!! I think the colors you have chosen are fabulous, but I am not surprised by this!! So excited for you!! I actually find it impressive that the guy wanted the fall wedding, all the guys I've dated would have had fits because it would interfere with football season.
Beautiful, stunning, fantastic...I love it! Your wedding is going to be so beautiful!
That looks gorgeous!!!!! Can't wait to hear more.
I've been to a lovely fall wedding and she had lotus pods and dried okra if you can believe that..and it was gorgeous. She even had some cotton out of the field in the reception flower arrangements. Follow your heart, do what makes you happy. It's your wedding so have fun! I can't wait to read more.
