I feel this way!

I was perusing USmagazine.com and came across this article which included some excerpts of Carrie Underwood's interview with Oprah. You know...I feel this EXACT same way!

The "Blown Away" singer also admits that she still "can't believe" she's off the market. "Sometimes I still have those moments where I can't believe I'm married. I spent 27 years not being married and I kind of got used to it," Underwood says. "But now, the more I do it, the more I'm able to think more of 'we.'"

"For the first year of our marriage, I still would give people gifts and write: 'Love, Carrie,'" she says. "And I'm like, OK, now I'm 'Carrie and Mike' -- there's two of us now. But I'm getting better all the time."

LC and I have been married over 6 months now. My students still call me by my maiden name because my license hasn't been updated, and my county won't update my nameplate or email until that happens. Plus, I was 31 when I got married. I'd been used to being "single" for a long time. It's still weird when someone calls me by my new name. We were at the car dealership, and one of the workers was calling out  my name to get my attention. I felt like an idiot because I didn't respond. Whenever I hear it, I instantly look around for my mother-in-law. Ha! I'm getting used to it slowly. Sometimes, I sit back and think...is this really my life? Am I really married? And then, it hits me. I really am all these things:)

Oh, boy. I can only imagine how weird it can be sometimes. I'm 28 and no where NEAR being married or even dating- I'm good with it, but it'd be weird being a couple.

This is so funny! I am sure after I get married next year it'll take awhile to get used to being a Mrs. with a new last name. ;)

I've been married 4 years and I still forget. But when I remember, it's amazing!

I do it too! They had to call my new name probably 50 times in the social security office before I realized it was me :)
