What can you do, but...

I don't even know how to start this post. I mean what can you do but laugh, cry, be mad, and all those things in between. I told you I'd tell you about my two sads on the other post.

Sad #1-LC's grandmother passed away over the weekend. I tried my best to not appear upset; however, it did upset me. My grandparents have all been gone since I was a teenager. So, with that being said, she's the closest thing I've had to a grandmother in a long time. She was an honest, caring, nice lady with a kind soul. I wish we would have visited her more...

Sadz #2-over a week late and no bebe. I got my lab results back, and the doctor said my glucose and hormone levels are fine, butttttttttttt it doesn't appear I ovulated. Well, ladies, no ovulay= no baybay. This is due to my irregular cycle I'm sure. I'm mad, angry, sad, frustrated, but we can't give up. We want to be parents, so we'll keep trying.

On another note, girls, teaching makes me forget that one should have certain staples in her closet, like um a pair of CLOSED toe black heels and a dressy, conservative black top. You know one that is sans sequins and bling and glitter. Teaching which is a relatively very business casual dress code with more emphasis on the casual, has most definitely put a damper on the basic staples I should have in my closet. Closed toe shoes scratched off. I needed those for this past weekend, and I needed a dressy black shirt which I swore I had to have one and indeed I do not. note to self.

Here are the closed toe shoes I purchased:
Jessica Simpson Calie pumps in black patent

These were actually pretty comfortable. I will say this I am a solid, true 8 in shoes. This is one of the few times in my life that I had to size up to an 8 1/2. Also, I have a narrow foot, heel, and ankle too bad the rest of me can't match those body parts. ha! and they were great for those issues. Fit perfectly. I purchased them at Macy's; however, they're not available on the website...fyi.

I can totally identify with your situation right now. My hubs and I have been trying for 6 months now. My doctor said normal is 8-12 months, but it is getting frustrating. I was 10 days late this month, too! Ahhh! Hang in there! :)

Definitely a sucky week - keep your head up.

Those shoes are cute too! I have them in nude and wear them all the time.

Don't worry. It will happen for you. After 2.5 years of trying for a baby me and my husband are finally pregnant and things seem to be going SO well. I had all the tests run, and it seems like it will take forever, but before you know it you will be reading that positive test. Modern medicine is SO good, especially for these types of things and there are tons of options to help you on this journey!
Good luck, and praying for you and your family!
