Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born - it's an idea, a state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, high school football, beer, country music, and acoustic guitars. It's being hospitable, being devoted to front porches, magnolias, the good Lord, and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way.

Leopard + Fleece = AWESOMENESS!

It's too cold down South. Seriously, it was like in the 60s this weekend, and then tonight, it's 32*. Ridiculous. Give me my warm temps back!!!!

I had this ridiculously cute outfit planned to wear to the junior league small group meeting I was holding, but my personal paparazzi wasn't here. fail. But I also have been bloated oh for let's say week 2 1/2 now. Wish this medicine would just hurry up and regulate me. So, in all, I guess my photo wasn't needed anyway. ha!

If you remember, I blogged about buying this scarf back before Christmas some time.

I can't find the other pic of the model wearing it w/o a coat. It was SO cute. However, I can't for the life of me figure out how to place it to wear it sans coat. It makes me look like I have a boa constrictor around  my neck. I think it's because the fleece makes it bulky and causes it not to lay right. However, on the other hand, it is THE MOST AWESOME wear outside your coat for a cute statement piece or if you're going to be outside at a game, it's SO warm.

It was freezing, so I went with this. Sorry for the lack of makeup. Only have the bare essentials on. I try to give my face a break on weekends/holidays when I can.

You look beautiful without makeup. I love the scarf and I hope you start to feel less bloated soon. I think after a month you will begin to feel better and just think of how worth it it will have all been once you finally get a positive pregnancy test! Remember the goal!

I like how you think 32* is cold. It is pretty much 4 degrees right now with a windchill that makes it feel like -16.

I am dying.

However, the scarf is super-hot and super-cute!
