No More Birthdays Please!

credit: here

It's your birfday, we gon party like it's your birfday. How about we don't party like it's my birthday, and we don't realize/recognize it's my birthday. K? Thxbai.

This birthday was hard for me. I turned the big 3-3 on Tuesday. Ugh, it's even hard saying it. My twenties are NEVER coming back, and my body will never be the same as my "twenties" body nor my skin for that matter either. I guess even when I got engaged at 30 I still envisioned myself with a family at 33. Speaking of babies, I started my cycle right on time this month. So, I'm hoping this medicine has finally began to start working. *fingers crossed* I go back to the doctor at the end of the month, so for now, we'll just see how it goes...

I thought wearing a little Lilly on my birthday ( a work day, sadz!) would cheer me up. It was a rainy day, and I was in no mood for birthdays. I'd say it did because I was fine after I left the house!

My hubs cooked me a yummy dinner: steak, green beans, and he tried to duplicate J. Alexander's Not Your Ordinary Mac and Cheese. He came really close!! It was sooooo good. My bestie came over to eat with us;  it was a great ending to a dreary day!

I'm so glad that next on the list to go is that chrome faucet. All the fixtures and knobs in our house are a dark bronze like that soap dispenser; however, the builder cheaped out by buying chrome faucets. Boooo! We, meaning LC, have changed out the master bathroom ones. Now, these are next go. Yay!

I love my 30's, but I definitely miss my 20s body.

Count each birthday as a blessing.
I wasn't married until I was 35. I have three siblings who married before I did (I am the oldest of 7).

I am wishing you many blessings for the year and the years to come.
