We had our last Junior League General Membership meeting on Monday. It was outside. Luckily this year, the weather was perfect. It wasn't hot, it wasn't cold, the bugs aren't out yet. PERFECTO weather. You Southerners know what I mean when I say "the bugs weren't out yet."
Ugh, hot weather brings the mosquitoes out in droves down here. Last year's meeting was sweltering and bugs galore. Mosquitoes think my blood is like fine wine because they can't get enough. So, thankfully, I didn't have to deal with that this year.
I think this year was awesome. I was so happy to see my provisionals "graduate" to actives. For my first year as a provisional advisor, I couldn't have asked for a better group. All my girls were wonderful, hard-working, dedicated, and so sweet! I was so excited to see them stand up and be declared actives. My placement next year is provisional advisor again. I hope my girls next year are just as awesome as the group I had this year because these new girls will have some pretty big shoes to fill! I'm sure they'll rise to the occasion though:)
Sadly, I did not get a picture of my whole outfit. It was super cute---at least my co-workers thought so. I got this top at Ann Taylor Loft on super clearance. I think I paid 5 or 7 bucks for it, and I love it. It's really blousy and loose fitting with polka dots, LOVE!
Close up of my necklace. It's Stella & Dot Zahara. I always get tons of compliments on this, so if I were you, I'd totally buy this necklace. It's so cute and fun!

Don't get me started on the mosquitos! Ugh! They make me so mad. Not sure they serve a purpose in life.
