Happy Valentine's Day!
I love animals and this story touched my heart. You can read about the firefighter who saved her during the wildfires in Australia here.
On another note, Happy Valentine's Day!!! I wanted to include some funny things to commemorate this day versus the mushy ones that make us ALL want to vomit:)
Hopefully, LC and I will be going to dinner tonight. His father offered to have us all out for Vday that way the men could cook while we ladies (i.e. LC's mom, brother's GF, and moi) could just relax and enjoy. However, I was not to keen on this idea but did not want to come across as spoiled girlfriend. So, I said nothing and agreed said dinner would be acceptable. I am an ONLY child; therefore, I have only child syndrome. You know the tendency to always want things to go exactly how you want it without the considerations of others. Growing up, I NEVER had to share and got all the presents! I really wish LC would have just cooked a wonderful dinner or we could have gone to a hole in the wall restaurant. Either way, I just wanted it to be us. After all, it is our very FIRST Valentine's day together. Ok, I'm being selfish. I should just be thankful I have a good boyfriend. I know. Ok, the pity party for this Belle is over. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your significant other, hope you find a significant other, have a few drinks and find someone to share your loneliness, or simply enjoy being single and having fun!!!!! Happy Vday:)

Amen to that, I am an only child as well. It is not being spoiled Valentine's Day is supposed to be romantic, not really known as a family holiday. Nothing wrong with wanting to spend it alone with the boyfriend.
Just found your blog and wanted to say hi:) I'm from Memphis too! Well actually im in Oakland now, just bought my first house. I love your blog!
I'm not an only child but I was raised that way. I never had to live with any of my siblings.
And for the record.. only children are not spoiled. We're just very well-loved.
Happy V-Day!
Thanks for sharing that story. How sweet is that fireman with the koala! I hope you have a very Happy Valentine's Day!
I get that way at times as well. I think it is normal and natural.
The koala story is so sweet! That fireman did such a great thing. I love that the little koala is drinking water from a bottle.
