Redneck dinner=FAIL
LC calls me yesterday and asks if I like macaroni and cheese out of the box. Ummm, yeah I love macaroni and cheese. I was raised on Kraft macaroni and cheese out of the box. We ate things out of boxes and cans growing up. Not literally out of the box or can, but you know cooked from them. LC on the other hand not so much. His mum likes to make things from scratch and use fresh vegetables versus canned ones. She's an amazing cook. Anyways, back to the point. This is the fabulous redneck dinner I came home to last night:

Hee hee. Of course! Actually that all looks pretty good to me! Loves mac and cheese no matter how it is cooked! (I even eat triple-cheese Easy Mac at work, if you can believe it)!
And chocolate chip cookies? Well, I say that they're the perfect all-American dessert!
It's actually making me quite hungry right now...

I LOVE mac and cheese!! My momma used to have to make it at every meal cause that is the only "vegetable" I would eat! To this day no one else will even it they are still burnt out from the past 15 years or so, but good ole mama still makes it just for me {LOL} Oh Lord...Don't even get me started on Coke! I could live on that stuff alone! LOL- You are NOT alone! I just made my husband a VERY gourmet meal on Wed. of Kraft Mac and cheese and Grilled Cheese sandwiches. Luckily he doesn't care what I make, but he did say, "thanks hon, I'm not going to be able to go to the bathroom for a week after all of this cheese." Little did he know that was my whole point! :)

We most definitely have redneck dinners! I love macaroni and cheese - but it's not truly redneck till you have cut up hot dogs in it :-)

haha!! We eat all of those things on a regular basis! Of course, I doctor the green beans up and put vegetable oil, beef brother, salt, pepper, and a little butter...but we LOVE kraft mac n cheese! =) i don't like regular coke, but my hubby is an addict!!

Your mom sounds like mine! My favorite redneck dinner: canned black eyed peas, with jarred banana peppers, jiffy cornbread muffins, and a diet coke :)
Oooh, I loved mac and cheese out of the box as a kid... now not so much, although I do still adore Easy mac! i think everyone has those nights, where it's too much to cook a huge nice meal, and you don't want to go out so you make what is easy and comforting... I usually make grilled cheese on those days :)
Hehe soo funny! I do love me some boxed mac and cheese. I've been wondering how those cookies are!
