My Xmas Presents!

No, no engagement ladies, but nonetheless, my holiday was nothing short of wonderful!!! On Christmas Eve, we went over LC's parents house for his father's side of the family's Christmas gathering. We had the most delish eggnog EVER. It's a family recipe that I want to get my hands on for sure! You can never go wrong with anything that has rum, brandy, bourbon, and sugar in it=) On Christmas morning, we went back to LC's parents house to open up presents. His parents bought me a BCBG dress, but it was too small. It fit, but it was a little snug for my liking. I really loved the dress, and unfortunately, there were none left to exchange. I ended up getting this one from BCBG:

They also got me a really pretty cashmere sweater from Land's End.

It's not pink at all like this picture looks. It's plum, purple, and navy argyle. It's so pretty. It's so pretty in fact that I wore it to the holiday brunch for his mother's side of the family yesterday at his parent's house. And, LC's grandmother gave me money. But, the best present of all was that she didn't cry. She didn't even cry at brunch yesterday. All she said was that she had hoped that my Christmas present from LC would have been an engagement ring. I told her, "You know what, me too!!!".
Christmas night, we had my familia over for dinner.

And of course you know LC got me these, but the stem of one of the earrings fell off. So, they are giving us a refund. I think I'm going to have LC put the money towards my gym membership

My Mummy and Daddy gave me $25, and these:

I just love love love this ring. It's a great cocktail ring not something to wear daily.

Believe it or not, I do not have a Lilly Pulitzer polo in this color. I just love polos; so, it will be a great addition to my closet!

I love perfume. However, this one is kinda heavy. Definitely not a day scent and definitely not for you non-heavy perfume wearers. I think it smells amazing. LC on the other hand about died in the car yesterday. He asked me if I had anything that smelled along the lines of shampoo. He prefers something lighter and more of a clean scent. I told him he is more than welcome to buy me something along those lines if he wished to=)

I have the pink Paley cardigan in the loopy lilly print. This is probably one of my fave LP prints. I was so excited to get it in navy as well. I just love it!

I love French Sevres china. My parents got me this divided dish. It's not black. Actually, it's cobalt blue.

And last but not least, my parents paid for my car tags! They do this for me every year because mine expire December 31st. Btw, this is NOT my real license plate. This is our TN plate though.

What a great christmas! Thank you for your sweet email... I really appreciated it.

I am so glad that LC's grandmother did not cry... however on my side of the field I had lunch with the PBF's mom and sister the day after Christmas and they both said because we care about you we want you to really stop and think if you are going to be happy in this relationship forever.... aaaagggghhh... they said it with love and kindness... but my goodness did it ever break my heart!

It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas! I love the dress that you ended up with from BCBG. The argyle sweater is also really nice. I’m sorry about the earrings. They look so pretty.

I also really like the pretty ring that your mom and dad got for you!

Looks like you had a great Christmas! I wish my parents would pay for my tags! :( This year, though, I'm getting the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center tags so I can support The Med!

Hope to see you soon. I miss you!
