Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born - it's an idea, a state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, high school football, beer, country music, and acoustic guitars. It's being hospitable, being devoted to front porches, magnolias, the good Lord, and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way.

While most of you lovelies are still recovering in your pjs or just enjoying your wonderful day off, I will be at school for in-service. I  know, I know...You just want to yell at me for complaining since I've had a whole two weeks off. But still, I'd just like one more day ya know...

I thought I'd leave you with two pretties for a steal! I ordered these in both colors Friday night. I hope they fit!!! And for $20, you CANNOT go wrong. I know, I know...I said I was on a shopping hiatus, but a girl can't pass these up!

I thought they were so pretty!!!!! Definitely something you'd eventually wear:) Remember my post about saving money...this is how I do it. Always looking on sale and clearance racks. Pending they fit, I know I'll wear these somewhere. I only spent $40. That's cheaper than trying to make a mad dash to the mall to find something to wear for an event that night!

Love the dresses! At least it's a teacher workday; I always found those slightly less stressful. Happy 2012. :)
