Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born - it's an idea, a state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, high school football, beer, country music, and acoustic guitars. It's being hospitable, being devoted to front porches, magnolias, the good Lord, and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way.

Movie Review!!!!

Sooooo, LC and I went to the movies on Thursday. We went to see The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo! We both really enjoyed it. It does kind of start off slow. There are three books in the series, and it does have to set up the setting and background info. It isn't as graphic as the book which in part I think is due to being an American movie for an American audience. I can't wait for the next one to come out...

Not to mention, I simply CANNOT wait for The Hunger Games to arrive at the theaters. What about y'all? Personalized Gifts

I saw it twice and loved it! I haven't read the books though, but I can't wait for The Girl Who Played With Fire

I'm excited about The Hunger Games, not so much the Dragon Tattoo movies. I was not a big fan of the books. For some reason I could just never get into them.
