For Mother's Day, my mum and I went to get pedicures. I decided to take her to a place where I see everyone checking in at on Facebook---lame, I know. I think what enticed me was the fact that they serve complimentary vino. Ok, pedicure and wine. I'm SOLD! I had such a great experience at Safety Nails Spa. If any of you local girls are out that way, I really recommend it. The place is very clean, I didn't feel rushed at all. We were taken to the pedicure area which is in another room and was very quite and relaxing. We were offered a complimentary glass of wine, and this was my view:
C'mon on girlfrans, you know this is a great view at a nail salon. No dingy, peeling paint, no redonkulous 1980s picture of a hand with some ridiculous nail art holding a rose across piano keys. You know exactly what I'm talking about!
They also offer herbal pedicures which I'm going to try next time. The girl next to me got a lavender scrub, lavender soak, and some kind of lavender wax of some sort. It smelled so refreshing and was soothing. Def trying that next time. They have other scents as well. Not to mention, they have ladies' night a couple night a week. I was pleased and plan to go back.
I branched out and got a bright color. It doesn't look that bright in this pic, but it is. Usually, I stay pretty safe with neutrals or coral. But, I liked it. It's fun!

What a good Mother's Day gift. I wish my mom liked doing stuff like that because it seems so fun.
